Your gallery reminds of dreamy fairytails. Is this something you like personally, too?
I wouldn't say I love fairy-tails personally, but I love photos that have that dreamy, fairy-tail, something-that-doesn't-look-real look.
What do you look for in art?
I look for pieces that say something and have an original point of view. In photography though I often look for works that capture a certain time either of magic, youthfulness, beauty, etc. A lot of art appeals to me, so I wouldn't say that I look for certain specific things in art.
Do you consider studying photography in college?
Yes, I often consider studying photography in college. If not photography, I want to at least study something having to do with art.
You often shoot with a Holga 135. What do you like most about this camera?
I love the freedom of not having to meter, focus, or really do anything except take the picture. I also love the colors of the Holga. I am trying to not use it as much now though because the quality of the photos is not great. Its a fun little guy, though.
Your favourite actor/actress?
Zooey Deschanel and Heath Ledger
If you have watched The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, how did you like it?
Oh yes I have seen that film, it was wonderful. I felt like I was in another world or something, I loved it.
Are you interested in fashion?
Sure, I don't let it take over my life but I am interested in some fashion.
Most of your pictures are taken outside in the nature. Is there a specific reason for this?
I love being outside and taking pictures, I don't like being confined to a studio or whatnot. Nature is one of the main places I gain inspiration.
Sometimes one can lack inspiration. How do you avoid or overcome such situations?
When I lack inspiration, I go somewhere new and hope to find inspiration in something else. Everything gives me inspiration.
When you travel do you mostly take lots or little luggage with you?
I wish I took little luggage, but I do take a lot...
Would you leave your homecountry for love?
Of course.
In what kind of an art project would you be interested in contributing to yourself?
I have always wanted to do some kind of collaborative art installation, with photography and other works as well. I have also wanted to put a magazine together for some time... hopefully those two things will happen soon.
Porch or balcony?
Balcony, no question.
